Sensor Data Analyzer

Upload a CSV, then see the mean, standard deviation, trend and outliers, filter the data and export the cleaned result. The file never leaves your browser.

Free, no account needed. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you enter is sent to a server.

Data

Separate values with new lines, spaces or semicolons. Use a point for decimals.

Up to 5 MB. The file never leaves your browser.

Filters

Unit: standard deviations (σ). The z-score uses the mean and σ of every loaded value. With n values a z-score can never exceed √(n−1), so short series cannot reach high thresholds.

A value that looks like an outlier can be a real process event. Check the sensor, unit and time before removing it.

Statistics (kept values)

Trend: the slope of the least-squares line. “Flat” means the fitted change across the series is under 2% of the mean.

How to use it

  1. Load your data. Upload a CSV or load the sample, then choose the column that holds the numeric value.
  2. Set the filters. Optionally apply a sigma-based outlier filter or a minimum threshold.
  3. Export the result. Download the clean values, or every row with its z-score and status, as CSV.

Common questions

Which file format does it accept?

CSV files with a numeric column. You choose the index of the data column (starting at 0).

Does my file leave my browser?

No. The file is processed in your browser and is not sent to a server.

How are outliers found?

The tool calculates how many standard deviations each value lies from the mean (z-score) and flags values beyond the sigma threshold you choose.

Is it right to remove outliers?

Not always. A spike can be a real process event. Check the sensor, the unit and the timestamp before removing it.
