Industrial Data Converter

Convert between Modbus registers, CSV and JSON in both directions, with data-type decoding and scaling.

Free, no account needed. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you enter is sent to a server.

Input

Input format

For Modbus use one “address, value” per line (value 0–65535). For CSV the first row is the header and every numeric cell becomes a point. For JSON every numeric field becomes a point.

Result

The output appears here.

Decoded values

Change the data type and scale factor of each row. 32-bit types read the address together with the next register.

No values yet. Load a sample or paste some data.

How to use it

  1. Pick the formats. Choose the input and output formats (Modbus registers, CSV or JSON).
  2. Map the registers. Define address, data type and scaling, or load a sample dataset.
  3. Convert and copy. Copy or download the output. Validate byte order against the device documentation.

Common questions

Which formats can it convert?

It converts between Modbus register data, CSV and JSON, with data-type decoding and scaling.

What if 32-bit values look wrong?

Usually the word or byte order differs. Try all four layouts (ABCD, BADC, CDAB, DCBA) in the PLC Data Type Converter.

Is my data sent to a server?
